Yearly Rules

24th Annual Gator Sports NFL Football Handicappers Pool\

When: Begins Sunday September 7,2008 through the end of regular season Note-Thurs 9/4 game will be omitted)
Entry: $60 entry fee covers the whole season and must be paid before opening day.
Best overall record of picking NFL game outcomes against point spread takes the grand prize. 50% of pool money. 2ND place pays 20% and 3RD place pays 10%. Best bets pays 20%.
Point spreads will be posted at http://www.mrpickem.org/2008 every Tuesday.
Picks may be emailed or called in by 9 PM every Saturday of the season, except in the case of Thursday games, when picks must be emailed by 6pm Thursday or called in before kickoff.
Anyone not calling in picks will be given all favorites by default. In even games you will be given home team by default.
To qualify for Best Bets you must make at least 20 picks over the whole season with no more than 3 in any one week.
$5 of entry fee will go for record keeping and the remaining $55 will be added to the pool money.
Pool will be limited to 1st 25 participants.
Payoffs: With 25 people 1ST-$685 2ND-$275 3RD-$140 Best Bets-$275

Weekly Football Handicappers Pool

Additionally, we will have a separate weekly $5 winner take all pool. It will include several college games in addition to all pro games. It will also be posted at http://www.mrpickem.org/2008
It runs for the entire season (17 weeks).
You may play it once, twice or as many times as you like.

Two post season pools will be offered at the end of the regular season.
The Bowl Games Pool($20) and The Playoffs Pool($20).

ZIPS CASH POOL - 2008

	ZIPS CASH POOL - RULES
1 -	$50 Entry Fee
2 -	Start with an imaginary $10,000 bankroll
3 -	Make play bets with imaginary bankroll every week
4 -	Every player must make at least 4 bets per week
5 -	Each bet will be in increments of $100
6 -	Maximum games to bet each week is 6
7 -	Picks are due by Saturday night at 10 PM
8 -	If you fail to make picks by Saturday Evening at 10:00PM you will be penalized $2000
9 -	If you bet on a Thurs. or Saturday game, then all your bets will be due 2 hours before kickoff
10 -	After the NFL regular season, the 4 players with the largest bankrolls will advance to the playoffs
11 -	During the playoffs you must bet every a minimum of $500 per game
12 -	All 4 player in the playoffs will split the kitty
13 -	After the Super Bowl… 1st Place gets 50% / 2nd = 25% / 3rd = 15% / 4th = 10%
14 -	The odds will be posted here every Tuesday by 9PM

· If you want to prepay for the entire regular season (including yearly pool, 17 weekly pools, Zips Cash, Bowl Games & Playoffs) the price is $235. It does not need to all be prepaid, but that’s your option.
